This morning Rebecca started First Grade!!!!She was so excited to see all of her friends from Kindergarten, eat lunch at school, and be able to stay all day! Olivia was excited to go and see Rebecca's classroom! We walked Rebecca to school and I got to stay with her for an hour and a half, while she did activities. Olivia came into Rebecca's classroom with her, and Rebecca let Olivia help her color a picture of a school house. Rebecca's best friend from Kindergarten, Erin, sits at the same table as Rebecca, so Rebecca was happy! Rebecca's teacher read the class a story about the first day of school, and she had them do some different centers. They took a tour of the school, colored, did some puzzles, and found their cubbies! She had to answer a questionaire, where she said that her favorite foods are pizza and ice cream, and that she would describe herself as "nice". She has a great group of kids in her first grade class, a really good teacher, and I know she is going to learn A LOT, and have a TON OF FUN! I can't believe that she is already in the first grade! Olivia is at school today, too, at Ms. Cheryl's house! So it's just me and Isabella this morning...and it is so quiet!
